What can a parent do to assist?
|
We always need parents who are
willing to take an active role in the Troop. You can serve as an
Assistant Scoutmaster or Committee Member. We also need parents to
help drive Scouts to campouts, help with merit badge classes, serve on
Boards of Review, help plan campouts, assist with fundraisers, etc.
Parents are also encouraged to attend all Boy Scout meetings, events,
and campouts. Parents who attend campouts will be made part of the
"Old Goats" Patrol while your sons camp with their own Patrols. We want
both you and your Scout to participate and enjoy the Scouting
experience. If you wish to participate, please speak with the
Scoutmaster or Committee Chair.
