Order of the Arrow Representative

Job Description

The Order of the Arrow Representative is in charge of keeping Troop OA members informed about Lodge events.

He ensures that Troop OA members are active in OA and that the Troop is well represented at all OA events. He attends all OA meetings, PLC meetings and Junior Leader Training, and writes a monthly article for the newsletter.

He keeps his notebook updated, and passes it on to the next Scout to hold his position.

The OA Representative works with the OA Advisor in carrying out his duties.

Suggested Goals

  • Attend all campouts during the next 6 months;
  • Attend all Troop Meetings and activities during
    the next 6 months;
  • Attend all PLC meetings for the next 6 months;
  • Provide Troop OA members with Lodge information;
  • Encourage Troop OA members to be involved in OA meetings, activities, and service;
  • Attend Junior Leader Training;
  • Write a monthly article for The Reconnaissance;
  • Keep this notebook updated;
  • Pass this notebook on to the next OA Representative;
  • Assist in the next OA Representative’s transition;
