Job Description
The
Quartermaster is the
supply and equipment "boss." He keeps a current inventory of Troop
equipment, and sees that it is in good condition.
He works
with Patrol Quartermasters, checks equipment in and out, and reports to the
Patrol Leaders’ Council and the Troop Committee on equipment needing major
repair or replacement.
He
attends PLC meetings and Junior Leader Training, and writes a monthly
article for the newsletter.
He works
with the Adult Quartermaster in carrying out his responsibilities. He keeps
his notebook updated, and passes it on to the next Scout to hold his
position.

Suggested Goals
- Attend all campouts during the next 6 months;
- Attend all Troop Meetings and activities during
the next 6 months;
- Attend all PLC meetings for the next 6 months;
- Attend Junior Leader
Training;
- Keep an inventory of all
Troop equipment;
- Report to the Troop
Committee whenever equipment needs to be purchased or repaired;
- Write a monthly article for
The Reconnaissance;
- Keep this notebook updated;
- Pass this notebook on to the
next Quartermaster;
- Teach your Assistant
Quartermaster how to perform your duties;
