Job Description
The Senior Patrol Leader is the top
Junior Leader in the Troop. He is in charge at all meetings, activities, and
campouts.
He delegates duties and supervises the other Junior Leaders.
He
coordinates and leads Patrol Leader Council (PLC) meetings and Junior Leader
Training, and writes a monthly article for the newsletter.
He keeps his notebook
updated, and passes it on to the next Scout to hold his position.
He works with
the Scoutmaster in carrying out his duties.

Suggested Goals
- Attend all campouts during
the next 6 months;
- Attend and help run all
Troop Meetings and activities during the next 6 months;
- Attend and run all SPL and
PLC meetings in the next 6 months;
- Prepare an agenda for each
PLC meeting;
- Coordinate and run Junior
Leader Training;
- Write a monthly article for
The Reconnaissance;
- Keep this notebook updated;
- Pass this notebook on to the next SPL;
- Assist in the next SPL’s
transition;
