The Adventure Experience (sorry Burt -- you got them backwards) Program is for first year scouts or older who would like an introduction to winter camping. The session runs from Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon. The boys are introduced to the winter outdoors requirements, participate in winter activities but actually sleep indoors on Saturday night.

The Experience (sorry again, Burt) Adventure Program is for older scouts who are in at least 7th grade, have attended the Adventure program and want to spend a night in one of 5 different outdoor structures; a quinzee, polar dome, parachute, thermal shelter or igloo, as well as participate in outdoor activities during the day. Please not the boys will spend Friday night indoors.

Please reply back and let me know if you or your scout plan on attending as well a put your signed signup sheet in the Matt Boudreaux Ship by October 10th.

Sorry for the short lead time, it’s just that we have to have our count to the council by the 15th of October. Thanks and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to give me a call or drop me an email.
