Parents Page
|
updated
03/28/2008 |
This page is intended to
help y'all find your way around the Troop, the website, and keep on
top of activities in Troop 695. Having a son in Scouts means that
you have even more to keep track of besides the usual kids, parents,
pets, work, home, school, church, lessons, sports, homework, and so on.
(I'm exhausted just thinking about it!) So, check back often as we
add to this page, and thanks for supporting your son in Scouts!

WHO YA GONNA
CALL? |
Parent Meetings
are typically held the
first Tuesday of each month, 6:30p, Prairie Lutheran
Church, sanctuary. |
Many Point Summer Camp
Troop 695
attends a week-long summer camp each year at
Many Point Scout Camp in Ponsford, Minnsota. We
are usually scheduled sometime in mid to late July.
Philmont High Adventure
Troop 695 Scouts attend Philmont every other year. We
have are in the process of registering Scouts for 2008.
Seabase High Adventure
We have a crew (Husky Patrol) going to Seabase during spring
break this year. At the present time, I'm not sure
what other Seabase plans are in the works.
BWCA High Adventure
Not sure if we have 1 or 2 crews going to the Boundary
Waters this August, 2007. However, it is FULL.
If you wish to be on a waiting list, contact
Bill Brown.
Black Hills High
Adventure
There will be a crew going to the Black Hills June 11
through June 17, 2007.

Hopkins Care Center
Each month, Troop 695 Scouts have the opportunity to assist
the residents at Hopkins Care Center on a Sunday afternoon.
For dates and other details regarding this very important
service to our community, please check the
Service Projects page.
And for additional information about any of the Troop's
service projects, contact
Paul Rosol, Service Project Coordinator. |
We're planning
to put links here to the adult volunteers that head up the
Troop. However, we want to make sure that we're
accurate, so check back and we'll make sure to keep this
updated. In the meantime, here's the
leadership page, albeit a little out of date.
We will also
post the
Scout leaders
that REALLY run the Troop. But,
we're a little out of date on these, too. (Volunteers,
ya know . . . we'll get there!)

Lots of
questions answered here . . . and if not, please
email us and we'll get you the answer AND add your
question to the FAQ's!
