Happy Valentine's Day!
at
Hopkins Care Center

Sam R., resident expert Bingo caller, spins the wheel as Van. D. looks on and Reed Q. waits for the "magic" number.

Gabe M. had a nice chat with this resident and learned that he lost his arm in a train accident when he was only two years old.

Sunday afternoon Bingo is one of the residents' favorite activities. Josh B. helps the residents keep up with the game.

Zak P. is shown here helping out - or is he just helping himself out to his own Bingo card?

Keep up the good work, Sam. Oh, and it's okay to smile, too! Maybe next time.

We had lots of helpers, including residents' family members, Scouts, and many Scout parents!

Keep a watchful eye, ladies, you're almost there!

Look! A teenager that smiles! Thanks, Matt B.

All the Q's were there, including Rob Q and Mrs. Q!

Some of the residents need (and appreciate) a little individual attention.

There were Valentines on the walls with the residents' names on them. Very pretty.

Here's Andrew S. helping, and playing, Bingo.

I gotta git me one a those hats! Isn't it adorable?

We had punch and cookies . . . mmmm good! Thanks to the Scout parents for providing the treats.

Ryan H., another expert Bingo caller, takes a "turn" at the wheel.

Zak P. takes his Bingo supervision duties very seriously. That's what first-borns are supposed to do -- take things seriously.

Terrence T. makes sure his Bingo pals don't miss any of the called spaces.

Wow! One more space and it's Bingo!

Gabe M. plays "La donna mobile" from Verdi's La Traviata. (It's in front of the other music.)

That's better . . . who needs to see the pianist?

Remember Frank Rosolini, the famous trombonist? (Google him if you don't.) Well, here's his twin brother, Paul Rosolini, and his sidekicks, Ryan "Dizzy" H. and Sarah Rosolini.

Blow dem horns!

Well, every good 45 needs a flip side. (Ask your parents what a "45" is.)

Move over Fabulous Baker Boys.

Just du-et! Swoosh.

Play it again, Sam! (So sorry . . . I just had to!)

Even Gabe's mom sang a little Handel ditty.

Meghan B., sporting an ever-so-fashionable Girl Scout vest (with LOTS of badges), played beautiful to wrap up the program.

And, finally, the recessional.
